March 24 - FAST Classic @ Brooksville
Hey, we're having another FAST Classic Autocross at Brooksville! And registration is open until March 19th. Buuut... this is about the only autocross in Central Florida on this weekend, so it could fill up. And thus (yeah, I seem to always say this), you should register early.
This is a Classic event, which means fewer entries, more runs and no formal novice instruction. We do require all entrants to have competed in at least 5 prior autocross events so that they sort of know what they're doing (or enlist an experienced sponsor).
We'll be providing lunch for all registered drivers and guests at this event.
Registration is open until March 19. You know what to do.
This event is at Brooksville, so pre-registration is required for ALL drivers and guests.

I think I might speak for some crappy turn-a-rounders. Most of us.
Instead of a practice' g's circle. How about a practice Amoeba circle based on the turn a round of March 11th? If I were to base a course on my normal failings it would have a series of 3 or 4 weird figure 8's at the airport. It makes or breaks people raised on squares and rectangles. Better to have a pin cone and a tall hand brake than learn all those variables in a 150ft loop at speed.

We're up to 37 entries. That means only 13 openings. And I know Matt & Ben haven't registered yet. So, really only 11.
If you want to attend this event, you really ought to get registered soon!

You've been accepted as of about an hour ago. Pretty sure another email should have gone out to tell you that, but I really don't know. I work the back end.

Gee thanks, Soroya. I posted videos on the Dixie thread. I'm the kind of looney who is interested in testing the car back to back, the Dixie asphalt vs Brooksville concrete, to determine what adjustment I need to make for next time. I might be taking this all too seriously...friskyflea wrote:Hey Randy...

Gotta love a data driven guy. Nothing wrong with that, or with being quietly competitive. I'd be doing the same exact thing...Rpwolf wrote:Gee thanks, Soroya. I posted videos on the Dixie thread.
