Yes, Jamie, we know there's a trade off. Life's full of them. Still want more runs.Jamie wrote:More runs is more fun when you're the driver. More runs is not necessarily more fun when you're the course working standing in 1000-degree heat or rain. Especially if you're slated to drive in the next group.

Oh, I didn't say I agreed with it. Just that it's been said!jbrannon7 wrote:The point here is fun. Most of us do autocross for fun, more runs is more fun.Loren wrote:It has been said that "if you can't do it in 3 runs, what's the point?"

You are so right. Unfortunately our terrific FL legislature is working OT Sunday to pass a bill making DST the permanent time forever in the Sunshine State all year.AScoda wrote:Daylight savings time is stupid. H8 it, H8 it, H8 it!![]()
Too late to stop the bill other than sending an email to Lame Duck Governor Scott to please Veto it. Scott signed within hours the 'other' quick bill. Moan. Hopefully he'll reflect for 15 days on the Time change. Tell wannabe Senator Scott you won't vote for any idiot who passes/signs such a moronic unlaw. If they were sane they'd have abolished DST and stuck with STD time like some states have.
Even the Citrus fruits are dying off in FL leaving only the political ones.
Leave the clocks alone. Get up earlier if you want to. No problem. Everybody is happy.

I hear ya, Doug. Feds still have to give the final ok, and I am fairly confident they are going to tell them to pound sand. More time zones isn't anything they want.
My solution has always been to move the clocks forward 30 mins and leave them alone forever.
Still dark at 8am in Winter and light til 9pm in Summer. So dumb. <shakes fist>

If a person is born on Feb 29th do they only get to celebrate every 4 years?
They would certainly die young.

Dunno? My C5 has a built in computer check list for that tells you immediately what is causing the fault without a tool. Check engine is traditionally just an emissions issue. Turn off engine restart ususally clears itself. Good luck. Vettes are just large Miatae.Racer X wrote:Freakin' check engine light pop up on the Vette while driving up to Brooksville for Autocross this morning! I'm SO PISSED!Force to turn back home!
