Since I cannot win the class championship, I am officially whoring myself out for a drive in another car for this event and the rest of the season. In return, I will provide driving instruction. RWD preferred. :D

Hmmm anyway to request I get into a late run group so I can arrive after lunch, run, then do cleanup?

Hockey practice 10:30-12:30, or autocross.. hmph :(

It looks like I will be bringing both of my karts to the autox. Aaron will most likely by piloting the Margay and I will be in the Birel. The reason for running both is that there will be a prospective buyer of the Margay present on Sunday as a spectator. Of course that is if my other potential buyer does not buy it before Sunday. :)

That's right folks! Get a loser to ride with you and tell you why you suck! :P

I got my race tires too late to help me out for this abbreviated season.

What supplies are needed for the 18th.

Mike, I know we're low on non-diet soda, and have no marble dust for lining the course. But I don't know if the event chairs have taken care of it or not. You might send a pm to either "deadmeat" or "musicaldeity" and ask 'em...or maybe they'll read this and post a response?

Well, I could potentially win my class, especially after replacing my bald street tires (well, maybe  )... however, I'm giving it up (...or, whoring myself, if you will) in return for piloting a kart! :P

Speaking of instructors... I am bringing a novice friend that will likely drive my car while I drive something else (we'll get him on the walk-up list early). I would not usually consider myself an instructor; however, for purposes of this scenario I would like to give him an "instructional" lap in my car. I feel I have enough autox experience that I could certainly pass on some of the basics (and specific nuances with my car). We've discussed a similar topic before and have never defined an "instructor". For Sunday, maybe the event chairs can dictate?

An instructor is someone who instructs.

The main thing is to know more than your student and do your best not to pass on any of your own bad habits.

So, if you know more than your friend the you can instruct him in the basics at least. IMHO.

(Note: I'm not defining what makes for a GOOD instructor. That is a different subject.)

I think it is just lazy.

I'm not sceduled to work any specific assignment so I won't be putting anyone in a bind. Just letting y'all know. :)

I knew someone would call me out  , but I didn't think it would be from someone who I owed money to. I got a second wind and got my car all done, so I'll be there. :)

I went ahead and downloaded the entry list to the computer.

Steve (or whoever is working registration), there's a gentleman on the entry listed by the name of Travis Floyd who is currently unclassed and doesn't have a car listed. I put him in G in the computer, but could someone please find out what class and car he should have listed when he signs in?

Hey! Speak of the devil.... I just sent the 'Powers that Be" an email with my situation and what I'll be running. I felt bad for Toyota and all the Yaris fans since Lorren won't be there and I'll bring mine!
