Raise your hand if you forgot to order an Enduro shirt.

Shirts are on the way, should be here tomorrow. I did order a VERY small quantity of extras. Sizes M, L and XL. If you want to claim one of them, let me know. $15 each.

In regards to the Skid Pad. My car gets really hot at endurocross. Last year it hit 235. WIll there be enough room to take a cool down cruise with the pad set up?

Good question.

You likely won't be able to "fly through", as there could be someone driving the skidpad. But, you could work your way past the skidpad and do some cooldown beyond there. So, if you need to cool down, plan on stopping at the border of the skidpad area. Make sure nobody's actively running, and that everybody sees that you're going across, and then proceed.

I forgot to order one. I'll take an XL if still available. Is it Saturday yet? I can't wait for this one.

Endurocross! 2018

The last "Fun for All" Enduro I ran I found that occasionally shifting into 3rd gear would cool the car off a lot simply because consistently over 8500rpm my water pump would cavitate. Design flaw? No because they said to shift at 8500 normally (disconnected buzzer) and not 9200 when the fuel limit came on. Just sayin' I'd never driven my car flat out before for 3-4 miles in 2nd on the street or anywhere else for that matter. My car also has 33% oil cooling (6qts+coolers) designed into it. Does your's? Hard braking is also not required on the cleverly designed course saving your red rotors and pads from a long cool down drive. Turning on the AC or Def will run both fans after the finish when the air isn't blowing @ 55mph thru your radiator. :thumbwink:

I think Les was the one who told me to add 1/2 qt of oil in Vette (4-6qt sump) to allow for g forces in turns? Or Loren for sure. Or both + Steve. Lots of smart people in FAST. Oh and check your oil on a level surface. Oops.

I also found that Lamaze Style slow breathing is a very good idea for "breath holders". And I know a couple people who are going to need a much longer playlist to finish well

It's going to be a beautiful sunny day Saturday.

Some people even bring a trailer, kitty litter and a broom. It's an Enduro. More laps than a busy pole dancer can handle.

Well, got home and rotated my tires. Or Tried. The last nut seized @#%$@! Another didn't feel great coming off. Amazon prime can get me 1 here tomorrow. ONLY 1. Anything more and its Saturday.

"Just make multiple orders" you say? Amazon is smarter than that. Friday delivery is no longer available.
Found a package deal with the nut, stud, and tool. Smart, right?
Nope. Tool and nut will be here tomorrow, stud Saturday.
Maybe only 1 available?
Nope. 27.
MAJOR let down Amazon Prime.

Hoping I don't run into any other issues or I will be missing Christmas.

I'm still waiting on parts for my bump steer kit that were supposed to be here today. Will most likely be here tomorrow.

Thanks for reminding me not to mess with the car this close to an event!

Steve, you're just gonna have to put up with bump steer.

2 seized nuts removed. Have replacements. Now to get off the hub and pound out the studs. Got a new axle nut. Just waiting on my Dad to come over with his impact driver to the axle nut off. Lookin good so far. Fingers crossed. Justin offered to let me drive his solstice if things go bad. He's a good guy :)

Studs swapped and hub reassembled. Now to throw the caliper on slam the wheels on and good to go. Will be bringing my torque wrench to tighten tomorrow as needed just in case.
