Yes. During the first phase of destruction we were using my jackstands and they worked very well. Dropjacks would be more convenient but we could probably live with using jackstands for a long, long time.

Guys (Howard?): FANTASTIC job finishining what we started!

There's supposed to be another drop-down desk across the front to give an L-shaped work surface. Or did that idea get scrapped?
Someone tell me when it's time to go down to the DMV to transfer the tag...
Any time now I'd say.

The current desk was large enough that I didn't think we needed the other side. Also, the front of the trailer is rounded and it would have been more difficult than the side we did. It took a week of working each night to finish, plus a few home depot runs. I also had to replace most of the screws in the outside front of the trailer due to some damage that was there that caused them all to loosen and rust. I couldn't find a T-18 bit so I had to get them out with a vise grip pliers. Loading should be a lot easier and just needs to be balanced. We can play around with it when we transfer all the stuff.

I have to say, that's looking really keen. Very nice job, everybody!

I can't wait to see it with the logos.

I spoke to Brian tonight - I think we came up with a plan to come out there this coming Sunday morning to transfer the goods and bungy-bins or whatever.

Howard - if that's not ok, let us know.

Ok.

The registration has been transferred to the new trailer. Same tag, new sticker.

Charles, have you had a chance to make any headway on new tires?

Going to try and look around for a spare this weekend. Not sure on replacing tires on the wheels that are on there. It will be cheapest to get new tires mounted on the wheels we have which involves taking the trailer somewhere or taking the wheels off it.

I wouldn't sweat it for next month as it's not moving far or at continuous high speeds.

Working "normal hours" at my new job so I really only have weekends free like most of you guys :)

And I'm sure it beats the hell out of having to take vacation time to go auto-x.

I know we don't need the genny at SPC, I just wanted to let anyone who might be wondering where the genny is, that I have it. It's gotten a oil change and tune up, and will be getting a new pull cord. 8)
