I can't believe the Mayor wants to move to S0 after all he must have had to invest to convince FAST to split SS and AS/BS. Good to know there will be some competition in S0 though, I was pretty bummed when I saw I was running solo.
See you Sunday!

Tony, the thought of anyone doing 1 dirty "on course" parade lap and getting 9pts and a sticker was just too much to bear
That makes the 13th "Millennial Sunday" where in both S0 and S1 everyone who shows up will get a "participant" sticker

Hellcat autocross. Notice how wide the gates are and how little HP is actually used. I'm betting he had to start out in 2nd gear. Put it in S1 or S0. No problem. We all get beaten up by the S4 Miata guys sooner or later!!
SUNDAY @ Brooksville Dragway. Nitro methane burning FASTiva funny car.

If the guy uses the red key it has 705HP. Black valet key only 300HP. Pretty cool control screen.

Re: Sept 13 - FAST Open at Brooksville
I looked up the Hellcat in the SCCA class list. They make no distinction between the Hellcat and any other Challenger, so I classed it accordingly. What I took that to mean is that it's not a "threat" to the class. It may be faster than a regular Challenger (maybe), but it's still not going to beat any of the lighter cars that have adequate power AND good handling, such as the Mustangs and Camaros. (and some of the "G Street" hopped up family cars are gonna give y'all a run for your money, anyway) If that proves to not be the case for some reason, we'll deal with it.
You guys know that autocross isn't about having 700 hp in a land yacht. Relax!
And, as Doug mentioned, the driver will have the option of 700 hp that he can't use... or 300 hp that he CAN use... in a 4,000 pound car. Is he gonna have fun? You bet! Is he gonna win? Doubtful. But, if he does, do you really think it's going to be because of the car? If this dude who has never autocrossed before takes S3 in THAT car, he's earned it, in my opinion!

Oil pan back on the Sabubaru...no defect found...except old age. Amazing how the multitude of O-rings do wonders when new, but 12 years long...end up like plastic. Fixed a couple of minor oil leaks with the addition of new seals too.
