So, I hate to turn this into a broken Mustang discussion, but my throw out bearing is going out and I'm not sure if I'm going to have the time to get it done before Sunday...

Drew, that's what the noise that I was hearing last month was, but now it's really bad.

I suppose it's probably too late to get credit for a future event?

Speaking of a broken Mustang...

I may not be able to get the Muskrat on the road by Sunday. The latest "project" ran into a couple snags. :bangwall:

It is what I suspected. Small leak that appears to have been slowly leaking for a little while. Front of diff is gooky (it's a word now!). I guess it finally leaked enough to get some air in. I'll have to replace and then bleed, which I won't be able to get done tomorrow.
So, I am officially withdrawn. :whine:
Credit me if you may.

3 broke Mustangs, plus somebody who emailed me the other day, and another that canceled a couple days before that. We really can't afford to give out credits for all of these late cancels. Sorry guys.

If you can get to the event, it's usually not too hard to beg a car to drive.

I decided to tow the trailer and spend the day begging for rides...

Looks like I will be coming - still sort of considering driving my car, or maybe co-driving Mr. Warner's car... We shall see. Any issues with changing my car at the last minute?

Not a problem, just let timing know what you're driving and if it isn't eligible for your usual class.

It is easier if you drive in the group with the class you were originally registered in, though. That way the event chairman doesn't have to jack around with work assignments.

No problems there - even if I drive the focus, I'll stay in M2. Thanks Loren!

Supplies:

Doug is bring two cases of water, so going off Chris' list, I'm going to pick up 4 cases of water and around 6 cases of soda, and ice and gas. If anyone can think of anything else we might need or think the water/soda amounts need to be changed, please let me know. Remember that the water normal comes in 30-36 bottle amount cases.

Oh well, I went and already picked up supplies, 7 cases of assorted Publix brand soda, rootbeer, tonic, ginger ale, diet rootbeer, diet tonic, and diet chocolate soda. I also picked up 5 cases of water; obviously will get ice and gas tomorrow. See you all tomorrow.

Sorry for not posting about all the issues, I've been sick all week. Feeling better now and will see everyone bright and early. I'm confident that everything will still go as planned tomorrow even with the few cancelations we've had. Nothing like being on the road before the sun rises. See you in the a.m.

Ed just dropped off the trailer and we put the new generator inside. (We decided the upper front shelves need a back stop to keep things from falling in transit.)

Most important dinner is ordered.

Good to go. :thumbwink:

Don't ever say By-pass in front of an old guy.

It takes torque to break things routinely.
