I see with our entry fee lunch is provided at events. I'm just curious what this consits of?
Are there any issues w/ people bringing coolers to the event?

You're welcome to bring a cooler as long as it doesn't contain alcohol. Lunch varies, but it's usually something worthwhile. Sandwiches, pizza, barbecue, sometimes Chinese food.

Cookies are always welcome as long as there is enough for the course workers!

I'm not questioning the food at al Yellow_Colorz_PDT_08 l. I just know I like to eat

so if I got a little hungry throughout the day I could have something ready to go. Plus during the summer time events I would want to have plenty of water on hand.
And I would never consider bringing alcohol, would someone actually do that

It's not THAT much of a stretch, as alcohol is a part of a lot of motorsports, especially from the "fan" perspective. But, even if you intend to drink AFTER the event (as Philippe did), our insurance specifically prohibits alcohol on site... and besides that, we don't want to stir up any trouble with any of our site owners.
FYI, the club supplies plenty of water and drinks at our events. You can bring a cooler if you like, but you probably don't really need to.

SPC has a refrigerated water fountain by the bathrooms. Endless supply of cold water.
We ran out of food at lunch once.
Once.

Not said (although implied) is FAST supplies unlimited FREE water and sodas. We use the honor system (and a large stock) to ensure we don't run out.
On very rare occasions, usually during the hottest of summer events, we have run out of water. Not often, thankfully. Maybe only once. Once!
The food for the upcoming event will be WONDERFUL! FAST has hired a chef I know (yes, she really has worked as a chef) to cater the Sunday event this month. And I know her very well! Yellow_Colorz_PDT_02

Most people come for the event and enjoy the food. I think there may be a few people who come for the food and enjoy the event. Yellow_Colorz_PDT_03

I used to bring a small cooler with a couple of bottles of water, a coke, and a candy bar or beef jerky. I've only brought it twice and only used it once. Now I just show up and enjoy the event.

I married above myself.
Lunch Sunday is pulled pork, coleslaw, baked beans and my wife's incredible potato salad. Don't bring an appetite; that way there will be more for me!

After a long day on my feet running from car to car instructing at the novice school, I was standing in the kitchen beside my wife and son, cutting up 30lbs of potatoes for tomorrow's lunch. My legs are killing me! Yellow_Colorz_PDT_13
