Last time we went to Dunnellon, we were greeted with a big chunk of beautiful brand new asphalt! A lot of patchwork on the old asphalt, as well. And we've designed a course to make good use of it!

Dunnellon isn't as far aways as you think it is. Only about an hour North of Brooksville. Short trip people who live up that way, and a quick run up I-75 (or US-41) for Tampa area folks. We start our Dunnellon events a bit later, so you'll have plenty of time to get there.

This event will be open to all drivers, just like a FAST Open event, but it won't be a part of our Championship series. It will be run more like a Classic event, casual and fun, but without the experience requirement of a Classic. It's "just an Autocross", come on out and have some fun!

If you know any autocrossers (or people who might become autocrossers) who live in the Ocala/Gainesville area, be sure they know about this event!

This site lends itself to fairly short course designs, which means lots of runs! How many will depend on the number of entries and the weather and all that. But, expect somewhere around 6, and likely more.

We'll be providing lunch for all registered drivers and guests at this event, too!

I've found that people (including me) get the course maps mixed up if I publish more than one at a time!

SCCA is the same day at Brooksville.

And as I recall PCA has an Enduro @ Whatever Time Raceway in St Pete area.

There's always an event going on somewhere else.

Man, I'd hate to see us go to having ALL of our events at Brooksville. In addition to being highly risky (if you only have one active site, and you lose it, you're screwed), I really like a little variety.

It will take $1318.44, and I can have an s4 car... ha.

Eh...not much overlap. A half-dozen or so people.

You know your audience. Only old farts are in SCCA and PCA. I'm an old fart so I know how where they are with my "oldfartometer". AND I get a free ride with some of them by providing lunch. It's all about the money. No raises in retirement.

Build it and they will come.

I'm in both FAST and SCCA. But I'm breaking in a new driver, and I already spend a lot of time at Brooksville...missed the SCCA event at OCCC, so it's time for a change of venue.
