I'm hot and tired. Well done Ron, I like that course. Thank you Rick for the food. Jerry you are a worthy opponent. I stink, so I'm headed to the shower. :salute:

Nice job today, Joe. Great driving! I had a feeling you were going to catch up and edge me out. :notworthy:

Ron Rice an John Evans - great event!

Also, thanks to Chris Meier for the interesting course. Oh, but you forgot a slalom. ;)

Excellent!

Thank you to my co-chair, Ron Rice, for doing all the work and leaving me free to frolic and play and generally just loaf about. :)

I finished on the podium for the first time in, ahem, ever, so I'd like to thank Loren for his superlative coaching. Extra-special big thanks to Steve and Brian for being old and slow! (Not so much Brian, maybe, but definitely Steve) Chris and Drew, I'm coming for you.

Events can't happen without a lot of hard work and everybody pitched in and got it done. Good job everybody! :salute:

Hey, there was a slalom on that course. It was a one-cone slalom! I couldn't design a one-cone slalom if you asked me to... but this course had one! (what is the sound of one-hand clapping?)

Anyway, Ron & Gerry and the rest of the timing crew, here are:
The Results

Oh, and forget Chris and Drew, John... we need to be gunning for Scott!

Sound impossible? All it would take is 1 second of "push harder" in the form of fresh tires and further improved setup, and .3 seconds of "suck less". :thumbwink:

The more competition the merrier. I had a good time today. The course was faster then I remember it being and I had to hustle my little miata pretty hard to edge out Drew in the mustang. It was fun and I look forward to next month.

And congratulations to Doug (17th) and Eva (15th), you guys are getting faster every month :) .

The one second is easy, the .3 is hard (I know from experience) :d .

Depends on how much you suck, Chris! I had a full .9 seconds of pent-up suck inside me today that didn't work itself out until my last run.

Stealin being the key word there. Looks like you had a cone on the last run and the software failed to register it as you can see by the plus sign with nothing after it.
I think that is common with the axware. :)

edit: and if you look at the raw event data, the cone should be there. Just doesn't make it to the results for some reason.

Overall position #43- Rene Meyer is an outright disqualification, was supposed to have been noted as such in results yesterday. Needs to be removed from results.

So close to having a pic with a rear tire off the ground:

Interesting. Not many things this you can do at an autocross for a DSQ. Since you brought it up I feel a story is required. :)

Inquiring minds (read nosy) want to know. I was working timing during this heat and don't remember anything unusual.
