The "Push Harder, Suck Less" philosophy explained:
Push Harder - Drive as close to the limit of your tires as possible.
Suck Less - Drive something resembling a proper racing line.

The cryptic behind-the-scenes Mayorism here is that Doug is quietly trying to get a seat on the board of the Hernando Airport Authority or whatever they call themselves. He's been monitoring the proceedings of the county there for years, he's got his finger on the pulse of the situation, and is making the effort to get on this inside of the process. :salute:

Ok here's the deal Philip.
Whatever tire/gas money you mention shall be waived, if the following becomes TRUE;

(Your raw finish position) < 13 AND < (My raw finish position)

Do you like those odds? :)

Can't back out now, but, to be clear, is that 12th raw or better and ahead of the owner? What is the the cars best raw finish?

Yup you got it right.
I think the best finish is mid 20s... 26th I think.

Clean up near Station 6 Barney's Rubble and 7 come 11 from the "never lift" twosome.

To be fair Nate has beaten my Vette by quite a lot on less than stellar tires and is picking off some low hanging fruit in the M's. It's just M2 has those little over boosted well driven cars now. Nate needs a Coyote in his 5.0 to make it a level field.

**Kind of odd. I just remembered that of all the dozens of people who have raced my RX8 N & P were the only ones to never master it as in splat. Oh that's right it was perfectly set up for autocross at the time :lol: They really never lift and have crazy fast reflexes. Would make great fighter pilots except for the ground part.
