...always the case. Course maps look like 4th gear, walks look like flat out in 3rd gear, and first run proves to be 2nd gear with arguable benefits of an upshift. Hahaha
As for the entry speeds and less severe braking, that better be true for any course.

Actually, it didn't drive badly, if you kept your eyes up and out. Most of the novices were in the same group as Doug and I, though, so I didn't get to see how they did on it.

Oh, the course is fine. I was sneering at the map.

Loren wrote:What I'm saying is that we could EASILY set up a course using the exact same map and tweak it to make it "too fast" or "too tight". It's all in the little details, so don't put too much faith in the map. It will generally keep you from getting lost and give you a reference for the general course layout, but it's no substitute for a course walk.
Truth.

I'll be running in M2. My car hasn't changed but my attitude has. Couldn't get the computer to change anything.
Thanks,
Doug

I can make that change, but not with your Corvette. Are you also changing your car?

I can bring the RX8. Is that legal?

Yep, RX-8 is in M2.
Or your Corvette is in M1 if you wanted to run in mod with that.
Not sure what your aim is.

Then I will be running the RX8 in M2. Maybe I can get spanked there by some Wanker with a trick car?
Thanks.

So, you want a wanker to spank your Wankel?

Lol! That's good Drew. Laughed til my eyes watered. Now I need a wankel-spanking-wanker hanky...

You are all in trouble. I washed the Miata and took out a little PS fluid so it'll stop leaking.

If I washed my Miata, nobody would know it was my car.

It's been so many seasons since you drove your own car, no one's really sure that's what you're driving now...I'll bet I can find at least two people who think it belongs to Joe!

Yeah, I've had several people say at recent events "I thought you were still driving Fred?"
That's okay, I might try to go back to car-whoring next season.
