Ya Know?

S2 has "No show Joe", "Recall Rob", "Thin Skins Williams", "Ben the Leaser", "Nils Pills", "The Grey Area" AND "Jessy's Olsen".

Everyone else is along for the ride unless we get a surprise?

It's gonna be a great day for racing!! :whip:

I just noticed "Rusty Ray" is signed up too. Go Chuck.

I may show up to hang out for this one. I'll be out of town Friday and Saturday and don't know when I'll be back.

I've spent literally several minutes prepping the FTD Machine for this event.

(I changed the oil)

Looks like it's going to be a contest of guts for the most part... Big accelerating sweepers on the way out and a big straight with a wiggle into the finish... Hopefully everyone keeps it shiny side up!

What? You haven't run 500 times on playstation? What's the point of having a tripod if you don't practice?

Slolom, Parallelagram, 360, Parallelagram, bang gears, funnel. 42 seconds. Even No Show Joe can do this one.

I think we need to give an end-of-season award for top trash talker. Can anyone challenge Mayor Doug?

And happy to be attending, Doug! That nickname is appropriate for sure. Can't wait!

Yes it is ! Looking forward to Sunday, I put my car on a slight diet over last week, and lost 20 pounds; wish I could lose weight that easily. :)

Brian, I was thinking about your car the other day (as I was putting together the run/work groups) and remembered that you've not had a passenger seat at the past couple events. I don't know if this was just a temporary transitional thing for you or if it was a "permanent" part of your setup or not. It's not something that triggered my thought process during an event, obviously. But... to be in M3, you should have a passenger seat.

http://drivefast.org/rules/modified-category/

You're allowed to remove the back seat.

I "get it", but....

"A mostly-complete interior is required. Missing minor trim or a panel or two is acceptable, as is removal of the back seat. "

Though my front seat and rear seat is removed; the carpet, seat belts, interior trim panels, door panels, center console, headliner, dash, etc, is still there. Isn't that a "mostly-complete" interior ?

C'mon, Brian. If we intended to allow removal of the front seat, we'd have said so!

The point of our Mod classes (except M0) is that the cars be something that a "normal" person would daily drive. That means at least two seats.

Our allowance for missing trim and stuff is more intended for incidental items that might actually be "missing"... as in, they fell off the car and got lost.

Please, don't make us write more stringent and complicated rules by pushing the envelope further than it needs to be pushed.

A passenger seat is in no way "minor trim", nor is it "a panel".

I meant it as a "joke", I understand the rule, that's what I meant by starting off by saying, " I get it but..", I was trying to be like "Jeremy" lol. Just felt like stirring the pot.

I guess I needed to use more emoticons. :)
