I wasn't complaining just saying I am glad I looked. I am pretty sure I signed up for it when you first started the list and either never got them or stopped getting them. I will have to try and do so again and check my spam folder. Normally it was not an issue, with the opening of registration being a month before the event. Since that will be changing in the future I will have to sign up.

Edit:

Just tried to sign up for notifications and received an error, figured it may be due to prior registration but received same error with a different email. I'll PM you if I get the same error from a computer.

Hi Loren, I'm subscribed to the mailing list (I just tried to add my email and it says it already exists), but I haven't received that email. It's not in my spam folder either. Just wanted to give you a heads up in case you hear of someone else having the same issue.
I'll keep an ear out for potential problems. But, I know the emails are going out, which means it's probably being stopped somewhere on your end or with your email service provider. Blasts like this can easily be picked up as spam, and sometimes domains even get blocked over it. The address they come from is info@drivefast.org, and of course, the domain is drivefast.org. You may need to check with your ISP to be sure we aren't blocked. Email me and I can send you a test message anytime.

I didn't really take it as complaining. But, if you're not subscribed or not getting the email notifications, it could LEAD to complaining at some point. :)

You'll notice that I didn't announce registration was open here at all. And I had no intention of doing so before tomorrow. (I don't mind that it got "leaked" here and is being discussed... though I would still prefer that people refrain from announcing it on OTHER forums until registration has been open about a week... let the regulars get in first) With split events, not getting that email notice can currently be the difference between getting in the Early session or not. And I suspect that unless trends change within a year, not getting that email notice could even limit your chances of getting into the event at all... even with 100 entries.

Being a popular club has its pros and cons. More pros than cons, so far. 8-)

We're at 43 for the morning and 27 for the afternoon so far. 50-driver limits for each session.

Now would be a good time to take a look at the Reg lists and be sure all the usual suspects are there and rattle cages as necessary.

Early Session
Late Session

Hello Everyone! I'm new to the forum and this will be my second event, looking forward to it!

I was wondering when the course maps are made and where I can check them out once they're up?

You're in the right place. Course maps are posted on the website and announced/linked here. We try to have them available about a week before each event. Sometimes there are delays.

Okay, time to open the flood gates. There's a week and a half left to register and 28 slots open. Tell all your friends, cross-post to your favorite forums. Feel free to Copy/Paste:

What: Autocross!
Who: FAST (http://drivefast.org)
Where: St. Pete College
When: Sunday, July 7th (must pre-reg by July 4)
Details: This FAST event will be split into two sessions so it will only take up half of your day! There are a few slots left in the Early session (before noon) and plenty left in the Late session (afternoon), but they could go quickly. Driver's lunch is included with the $30 entry fee. Novices are welcome, and first-timers are well cared for. Come on out, you'll have a good time! But, remember that pre-registration is required!

Ha! Likely it will be my timing rather than grip in doubt although hoping to tighten the LSD up and improve the sideways action a bit...

Eric: very nice go-pro shot! Steer with the rear, right?

Hopefully see you on the 7th!

Thanks. Still trying to figure out what tire pressures these tires like. So I've been fighting oversteer issues as it looks like I've been running way too high pressures. I miss being able to set it and forget it, but the stiffer spring setup isn't as forgiving as the ole stock leaf springs for tires and tire pressures.

OK, this might be a super newbie question, but: I've registered for this event but might be out of town due to unforseen family issues. How do I go about canceling/pushing back my registration to the next event if I do end up out of town?

Thanks is advance!

Go to MyAutoEvents.com where you registered. Log in, go to the registration list for this event, "edit" and cancel your entry. Do that before pre-reg closes and you'll get an event credit that you can use later.

Hey I have a friend that accidently signed up for the early session, is there anyway you can switch him to the later event so he can race with me? Or can i switch to the early event if the late event is full?
His name is Matt Keyes and he drives a Gray Bmw 335i

Either of you can, before pre-reg closes next week, edit/cancel your own entry and then re-register in the other event using the "prior event credit" option.
